The satisfaction of income is an open topic nowadays. One way to study it is to observe real and demanded income. Most databases available today are surveys, containing errors in income measurement as well, which influence the result of research. The desired income is a specific measure as it does not have the exact number a priori. Many researchers study the way data from different sources fit each other and create algorithms to correct errors in measurements as well as to compare the inequality and income satisfaction factors for data from different sources. The paper observes the issue and develops the author algorithm to correct ambiguity of rounding numbers based on fuzzy theory for real and desired data in the Saratov region, Saint Petersburg and Moscow. Improvements made by the algorithm were found to be significant. The inequality indices are calculated and compared for initial and corrected data (Lorenz curve and Gini coefficient). The satisfaction of income is studied and its determinants are obtained using simultaneous regression modelling.
