Factors of the Appointing the Heads of the Regional Executive Power in Russian Federation (2005-2017)

In 2004 there was a cancellation of direct gubernatorial elections. They were replaced by the procedure of empowering the heads of regions on the proposal of the president. The President received the right to defend the head of the executive branch, having lost confidence in her by saying “loss of trust”. Thus, the federal center not only delegates authority to the heads of the subjects of the Russian Federation, but also annuls them. In this paper, businessmen are trying to identify the main factors influencing regional executive authorities during two time periods: periodic appointments in the regions (2005 - 2009) and periodic direct gubernatorial elections (2012-2017). Using statistical signs, on the basis of which lies the analysis of a number of indicators.
