Educational Programme: Electronic Engineering (Master)

Final Grade: 10

Year of Graduation: 2019

Graduation thesis is dedicated to the development of a remote-control device for a pulse electric field strength microwave photonic measuring transducer. Photonic transducer is developed within the framework of the National Primary Standard GET 148-2013 upgrade. The remote-control device is designed to control remotely the operating modes of the primary transducer unit, which is measured in high intensity fields. To ensure noise immunity, it is proposed to build the remote-control device on the principles of analog circuitry. As a result of the thesis, a set of control commands was defined and was developed a way to encode them using pulse width modulation. A schematic circuit of the remote control device was developed and computer simulation of circuit solutions was carried out. Also a printed circuit board was developed and its installation was performed. A model of the device was made for the purpose of the research of its functional characteristics. Graduation thesis includes 74 pages, 50 illustrations, 9 tables, 1 formula, 47 sources.
