International Actions to Combat Crime in the Field of Sport

In the present work, a study was conducted of acts of international organizations, as well as international sports organizations in the field of a pressing problem concerning international measures to combat crime in the field of sports. The main types of crimes were studied, practical data confirming the prevalence of their commission were presented, and measures taken to prevent their commission were analyzed. The purpose of this study is to analyze the main offenses in the field of sports and to identify the measures taken, developed by the international community to prevent them from these sports offenses. The methodological basis of the study was general scientific methods (for example, synthesis, analysis, etc.) and private-scientific methods (for example, the comparative legal method, the historical method, etc.). When writing the work, the scientific works of many authors studying sports offenses and features of the measures taken to combat their manifestations were used. The normative base of the research is the UN International Declarations and Conventions, International Council of Europe Conventions, European Court Acts, Corporate Acts of International Sports Federations and Sports Leagues, World Anti-Doping Agency Acts, foreign laws, and invalid regulations were also used. The practical significance of the study is that it has structurally analyzed international acts and other sources relating to international measures to combat crime in the field of sport; analyzed innovations that relate to the responsibility for violations of the prohibitions of committing socially dangerous acts in the field of sports; proposed and recommendations to improve the international measures to combat crime in the field of sports
