Improving the Delivery Routes for the Planning of International Container Transportation

Container transportation is the optimal solution for the efficient movement of large batches and bulk cargo. They are used in international and domestic transport systems. The main advantage of these kind of transportation is the fact that they are carried out by various types of transport. The strength of the container ensures safety during transportation and the process of loading and unloading. Foreign economic activity is a type of economic relations with foreign companies. The basis of this type of activity is the interrelation from the execution of foreign trade purchase and sale transactions. The relevance of this topic is that due to the globalization of the world economy and the growth of international trade, world freight transport is developing. It is necessary to improve transport infrastructure, which will help simplify and cheapen global trade. According to this, containerization of the transportation process becomes the most significant direction in the development of technologies and organization of transportation. The purpose of this work is to improve the route of delivery of goods. Object of study - the company Kraft, the subject of the study - international transport from Russia to Saudi Arabia. To achieve this goal, it was necessary to analyze the literature, find out the specifics of international container transport, analyze the methods and models that are used in the organization of transport. After analyzing the methods and models, a number of measures to improve international transportation and ways of organizing future transportations are defined.
