Legal Measures of Environmental Protection in Russian and Norwegian Gas Production Regulation

The primary purpose of this project is the comparison of the legislative measures taken in Russia and Norway with a view to protect the environment form the adverse effects of gas production. The following steps have been taken in order to achieve that goal: an analysis of national legislation followed by listing and categorization of the legal protective measures, estimation of their efficiency based on available scientific data. The study may be of interest to both lawyers and scientists specializing in environmental studies.
