This paper research the quality of the institution's defense of whistleblowers about corruption in the G-20 countries and the relationship between it and the perception of corruption. The study revealed the division of this group of countries into three subgroups according to the level of development of the institution under study. Using a model with fixed effects for spatio-temporal data, a model with fixed effects time-series cross-section data, a hypothesis is tested that there is a relationship between the quality of the institution for the protection of whistleblowers about corruption and the perception of corruption. This relationship is positive, but there are some cases where high values of CPI are accompanied low or medium quality of the iinstitution for the protection of whistleblowers about corruption. It was revealed as a result of a regression analysis that the quality of the institution of the protection of applicants about corruption has a statistically significant effect on the level of perception of corruption. Thus, first, there is a significant relationship between variables of interest. Secondly, this connection cannot be called purely linear, that is, the value of the applicants' protection quality index on corruption does not always correspond to higher CPI values.
