Student: Fedulov Vasiliy

Supervisor: Maria Krasivskaya

Faculty: HSE Tikhonov Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics (MIEM HSE)

Educational Programme: Infocommunication Technologies and Systems (Bachelor)

Final Grade: 9

Year of Graduation: 2019

The problem of pairing typical measurement devices with computer was reviewed in this graduate work. The objective of the work is to create a virtual laboratory bench which will emulate behavior of a real measurement tools interface. To rich the goal, basic standard interfaces of measurement systems and capabilities of LabVIEW programming environment are reviewed, as well as the interface features of a typical device. Based on the analysis, bench software was created. Moreover, a toolkit that will meaningfully organize the process of communication with the virtual instrument was developed. Additionally, the main development stages, tests, and instructions are presented. As a result, the bench may be implemented to develop basic skills of using real devices. This fact will reduce real equipment servicing costs and make the process of studying for new users faster. Keywords: standard interfaces, measurement systems, virtual bench, data transmission, LabVIEW
