Эта статья претендует на анализ автономии принятия решений в парах городского населения в Эквадоре. Анализируется 2400 пар. С помощью методологии CFA можно найти 4 области принятия решений: работа, дети, деньги и индивидуальные решения. Позже, 8 моделей предлагаются для того, чтобы найти статистические доказательства в пользу детерминант автономии принятия решений. Найдены некоторые доказательства в пользу теории ресурсов.
