Staff Selection Features in the Example of the “Hilton” Language Center

The present research is intended to cover the questions concerning human resources management. The general propose of this project is to investigate different recruitment and personnel selection approaches, to analyze how the chosen company recruits and selects its staff and how these processes affect on an employee turnover. The current system of recruitment and selection of personnel in the «Hilton» language center needs to be improved, as evidenced by the insufficient number of attracted candidates and staff turnover. The aim of this study is development of a set of activities to improve the processes of personnel recruitment and selection in «Hilton» language center. The method observation of a selection procedure, a survey between former employees and candidates for the position and an interview with the HR-specialist are powerful tools for pooling information about the reasons of staff retention and insufficient number of attracted candidates. The research will be useful for the commercial educational organizations. It will help them to improve their processes of recruiting and selecting employees.
