Determination of the Impact of Сlusters on the Socio-Economic Development Management of the Russian Federation Territories

For recent decades, mass implementation of cluster policies by European countries has led to a significant increase in their economic development indicators. The object of this study is to analyze the impact of cluster policy implication on the main indicators of the socio-regional economic development in the Russian Federation since clusters are presented to have a close association with regional economic performance and evaluation. The present work reviews basic conceptions and components of the cluster theory, the most successful global experience of clusters’ implications, analysis statistical models of its evaluation, its importance for the regional industry dynamics and sustainable country development. The research includes based on theoretical regression analyses estimations of the interrelation between cluster performance measures and traditional indicators of regional socio-economic growth. Results of the study are presented as a list of suggestions that has direct implications for both public and regional economic development strategies and can be applied in future practice.
