Improvement of Supply in Vertically Integrated Companies (in Case of Diamond Mining Company)

In the considered master dissertation the optimal variant of the supply system for companies in the diamond industry is proposed, indicating the objects of automatization of the supply process by refining the SAP PM, SAP MM modules. The market of the diamond mining companies, the economic, financial, logistic activities of the investigated diamond mining company are analyzed, and also disadvantages of the existing system of inventory management, supply system and planning’ accuracy are emphasized. The current organizational structure of logistics management is considered, and also the approach to its modernization taking into account the transformation of the supply system is given. These systems are tested on the example of the investigated company and the economic efficiency of the proposed solutions
