2019
The creation and development of the Internet has led to the formation of a digital environment with its own linguistic and semantic features. A new way of communication has emerged like a digital design, which forms a common semantic-semiotic field for all cultural carriers. But this is exactly opening the field for reflection on the correlation of the content and form of expression in the global environment. In this diploma, we will try to reveal the interrelation of these elements of the narrative on the example of the «Gulag Clothing» project. The project is a virtual exposition of clothing items stored in the depository of the GULAG History Museum and stylized as an online store. Through this project, we want to define the role of the narrative format in a virtual dialogue with the audience; put the statement of one semantic order in the format of the narration of a different semantic order and analyze what the results this may lead.
