Microstrip Multipole Antenna for RFID Technology Research

In this paper a microstrip multipole antenna for RFID technology is being investigated. Issues related to the use of antennas in radio frequency identification systems and the advantage of using microstrip antennas for such systems are subject to consideration. Methods for calculating microstrip antennas are presented, and the advantages of a microstrip antenna on a structure in the form of a meander-type slow-wave structure are shown. The microstrip multipole antenna was simulated using the AWR Design CAD software. An assessment of the results obtained is given, and conclusions are drawn on the possibility of using the antenna for RFID systems.
