Improving the Efficiency of Warehouse Operations

Modern economic relations, the development of competition determine the need for new approaches to the material support of business processes in the enterprise, which are designed to ensure the continuity of the business unit. In this regard, there is a need to determine the economic content of warehousing and ensure the effectiveness of the movement of inventory values ​​within it, which leads to the actualization of scientific research in this direction. Warehouse management includes monitoring the rationality of its use, automation of accounting, motivation of warehouse workers. These areas of warehouse management are aimed at maintaining and improving the efficiency of its operation. The paper reveals the topic of improving the efficiency of the warehouse by calculating key performance indicators, comparative analysis and on the basis of previous research on this issue.  An example of improving the efficiency of the warehouse is shown at the warehouse facility of the company “Kvelitet”
