The purpose of this paper is to review existing literature and research in the area of compliance human and environment in four areas: person-job, person-organization, person-group and person-supervisor, and elucidate the extent to which compliance at the level of person-group and person-supervisor can affect the performance of a small group or an entire division in the company, which is engaged in software development in the information technology sector.

It also discusses the implications of the findings of this study and some practical guidance on how to effectively make personnel decisions based on employee data.
