Transformation of Russian Business Media in Terms of Digitalization

The development of the informational technologies and the Internet has been influencing the media dramatically past years. The purpose of the master's work was to identify the most significant factors that influenced the transformation of the Russian business media in terms of digitalization, as well as to identify trends for further development. In my research, I used scholarly works and materials on media consumption, media development in Russia, analytics on the spread of digital technologies and communication tools as a theoretical and methodological base of work. Research methods also included expert interviews and a survey of respondents. During the work on the master’s thesis, the practices of business information consumption in Russia, the technologies that were introduced to the work of the media, and how digitalization in general influenced business media were examined.
