Organization of the effective purchasing logistics has become one of the core challenges in a rapidly growing market economy in recent years. It is getting more and more difficult to compete with huge industrial enterprises in conditions of limited resources. Therefore, one of the core aims of the company is to form a procurement strategy and to determine policy in relation to suppliers. It is necessary because the right organizing of procurement activities will reduce risks and uncertainty connected with the supply of raw materials and components. The proposed research aims to provide a comprehensive overview on issues in the sphere of purchasing, analyze the procurement activities of the manufacturing enterprise and introduce the methods that can be useful for company’s future procurement strategy.
