The Environmental Aspect of the Industrial Company. The System of Ecological Management

This paper discusses the environmental aspect of the companies that operate in the raw material sector of the economy. The main instrument of influence on the company's activities in the field of environmental safety is proven environmental management, or rather –the environmental management system. The study is aimed at a comprehensive study of both the regulatory framework, regulations, international standards, and the environmental management system, as one of the most important parts of any company and organization, especially those that operate in the industry and the extraction of natural resources, including the example of PJSC "Tatneft". Currently, a number of standards and regulations have been developed that regulate and recommend how to organize the environmental management system in the enterprise. Among these a variety of laws of the Russian Federation about protection of atmospheric air, water resources and others, as well as the system standards ISO 14000. They form the basis of the SEM. Also parts of the EMS are: environmental policy, programs, personnel structure, tools and measures to analyze and improve the situation in the field of environmental safety. In this study, the company "Tatneft", which is one of the largest producers of oil and gas, as well as processes it into various products and sells them, was considered. In connection with the growth of environmental problems in Russia and the Republic of Tatarstan, this company has created and implemented its SEM system, analyzes and improves the newly emerging programs and development strategies. In General, according to the results of the study, the company "Tatneft" conducts the right policy in the field of environmental safety, this is evidenced by: regular confirmation of certificates, recognition by both state and non-state structures, and most importantly – a systematic and continuous improvement of environmental performance. As a result, many inspections revealed insufficient work with personnel, which is typical for many companies. Therefore, it is recommended to improve this component of the SEM. One aspect that has not been addressed, as a result of the unavailability of data, is the economic planning of SEM activities. Therefore, based on the results of the work, a new model of SEM was proposed, which differs from the classical one, which allows to improve interaction within the company, as well as to include the financial planning process in the system itself. This will allow the company to implement environmental policy with less labor costs, as well as to reduce and rationalize the costs, which are enormous in the field of environmental safety. It should be noted that the study can be useful for both large and small businesses that carry out production activities and are somehow related to resources, the environmental component and affect the people and the environment around them.
