The Formation of Competitive Advantages of Creative Space: the Case of "Sevkabel Port" Project

Creativity has been described as the major competitive advantage in the postindustrial countries. Creative hubs have become familiar spaces for citizens. Researcher reflects on the competitive advantage of creative hubs. Case study method of creative cluster “Sevkabel Port” in Saint-Petersburg (Russia) was chosen. The analysis is based on the poll and interviews with residents. It showed the synergy of unique area where Sevkabel is located and its management company who discovered the potential of the place. Key words: creative hubs, creative clusters, competitive advantages.
