International Electronic Trade Regulation Regime Relevance for Russia

The purpose of the master's thesis is to study the possibilities of using international experience in the regulation of electronic trade in Russia. The main objectives of this study are: 1) consideration of the main theoretical aspects of e-commerce as a new category of international economic relations and concepts related to its regulation; 2) analysis of world experience in the regulation of electronic commerce on the example of the United States and international agreements in this field; 3) an assessment of the possibilities of applying international experience in the regulation of electronic commerce, taking into account the main trends in the development of electronic commerce in Russia, its economic indicators and the existing regulatory framework covering this area of ​​regulation. The master thesis consists of introduction, three chapters, conclusion and list of references. In the course of the work, the following main conclusions were made: 1) e-trade is the result of achieving a high degree of development of international trade and information technologies and their combination into a new type of economic relations. In the regulation of electronic commerce, there are two main approaches: the principle of non-interference of the state, based on self-regulation of the economy, and the principle of significant government intervention in the field of electronic commerce; 2) the international community has formed an extensive legislative framework in the field of electronic commerce, but on many issues there are differences in approaches; 3) The Russian market is different from the global one and has its own specifics, however, the use of already established and successfully operating norms in other countries can contribute to the creation of effective legislation in the field of electronic commerce regulation in Russia.
