Corporate website is one of the key indicators of the success and effectiveness of the company in the modern world. With it, companies can promote products and services, advertise their own brand, contact potential customers, have feedback, disclose information about the company, maintain a competitive advantage and much more. Therefore, modern companies carefully monitor the performance of the website. In this paper, we study the impact of the indicators of the effectiveness of the company's websites on the results of its activities. The audit is carried out on the data on Russian public enterprises for the 2016-2017 year, since this influence is still poorly studied precisely in the Russian segment. Based on empirical studies, hypotheses were put forward and frequently used indicators of site effectiveness were proposed. As a result of the study, the influence of the performance characteristics of the company's websites on its financial performance was proved, and the model’s limitations were put forward.
