This research examines the problem of investment attractiveness on the example of Russian oil industry. The work consists of an introduction, three chapters, conclusion, list of sources and appendix. The introduction includes setting goals and objectives, the choice of method and subject of the study, as well as an explanation of scientific novelty, practical significance and relevance of the study. The first chapter deals with general information about the concept of investment attractiveness and the position of the Russian oil industry on the world stage. A separate section is dedicated to a detailed description of the relevance of the topic. The second chapter is based on the study of theoretical approaches to assessing the investment attractiveness of enterprises, analysis of approaches and the choice of the most appropriate combination. In the third chapter, the study of the investment attractiveness of few oil companies using a combination of three methods and analysis of the dynamics of the calculated indicators for the five-year period. At the end of the chapter, an aggregated result is presented and measures to improve it are proposed. In conclusion, the article describes and summarizes the results of the work on the analysis of investment attractiveness of Russian oil companies.
