My research is aimed at studying the methods of visual expansion of the worlds in computer games. This topic is extremely important in the game design context, because it is all about this feeling of completeness, reality and three-dimensional world that influences the overall game experience, allows the players to live in the fictional universe, completely immerse them into the escapism. Often, the sense of scale of the game space, the presence of something else outside the gameplay, some uncharted parts of the world, directly affects the atmosphere of the game, adding a puzzle element to it. As I already mentioned previously, we added some specific lights to play with gamer’s imagination. Also we already created some windows, through which the gamer can see the different parts of the station, that he can not achieve because of the game’s limitations. Moreover, we tried to use different scale illusions, so that the gamer can see things in more epic way, for example it is true for the “artificial sun” module, that is visible from the window in Room 1. There are a lot of ways to create your own universe, but when it comes to a game industry, the most correct way would be not to simply cheat and deceive the player, but to play with his mind and force him to look only in that direction, that you are pointing at. It is not so easy, but there are several ways to do that, and by following them correctly the game designer can achieve a very high level of realism in his game, even though it is not big enough. It is important to use those limitations that you have during the development of the game, because it is forcing you to use your imagination more often and create your own masterpiece. Only in this way the player would be satisfied and will never think that you are fooling him around, but instead will be happy to believe in the reality, that you are created for him
