ClickHouse Source Code Analytics Using ClickHouse

GitHub is the most popular hosting service for open source code. GitHub allows developers to collaborate on projects. As of November 2018, there are more than 31 million users and more than 100 million repositories on GitHub. Many projects require a collaboration of developers, which can lead to complication of a development process. In this work we try to build a tool, which analyses a particular repository, saves all the data on a repository into database working on ClickHouse database management system and provides users with an interface, which allows them to write custom SQL-queries and get many valuable statistics extracted from a repository code and metadata, which will lead analysts and developers working on a project to gain insights into their work. Crawler written in Python, using libraries pydriller, git and clickhouse-driver. User interface is implemented as a web-service, written in TypeScript and React, using python flask web-server and PostgreSQL as a service storage.
