The paper deals with an access control system that uses artificial intelligence algorithms to utilize biometric data. The purpose of this work is to create a system that can be used in access systems, payment systems as an additional way to confirm identity. To do this, it is necessary to analyze machine learning algorithms and select the most suitable of them, design a scalable architecture and choose effective tools for its implementation. The paper describes the existing solutions in the field of identification systems, the system's architecture, selected tools, implementation details of the system's components, requirements and testing. The result of this work is a designed system and its implemented prototype. The work contains 40 pages, 3 chapters, 16 figures, 8 tables, 3 annexes, a list of references from 26 titles. Keywords: biometric authentication, face recognition, web development
