Internet information resources. The following conclusions were made. The Russian team at the World Championships showed high performance, which had an impact on the transformation. Another likely factor is the fact of holding the World Cup in Russia, the unity of the fans. Mathematical evaluation of the impact of the 2018 World Cup on the change in fans' attitude towards the national team and clubs was carried out by correlation-regression and cluster analysis. One of the main conclusions is the fact that in the season 2018-2019 the attendance increased at the stadiums of St. Petersburg and Rostov-on-Don. There is a positive trend in the attitude of fans to the national football in general after the holding of a major international competition in Russia. With an increase in attendance of matches in St. Petersburg, there is an increase in attendance in Moscow, Rostov-on-Don and Krasnodar. In Perm, attendance at matches is weakly dependent on attendance in St. Petersburg. The forecast showed that, with a probability of 88.29%, there will be a further increase in attendance at matches of the Russian championship with the participation of the Zenit team and with different probability of growth in attendance at matches of other teams.
