Television Broadcasting: Contemorary Status and Trend in Montenegro

The thesis is devoted to the study of Montenegrin television which finds its manifestation in the form of television broadcasting and is one of the most popular, dynamically developing, and at the same time socially significant types of media in Montenegro. There for it analyses the formation and development of television and summarizes the current situation on the television market, while highlighting its main features. Also, the available data on the current state and prospects for the development of television in Montenegro are systematized and summarized. A special overview in the work is devoted to the position of public and private television, their financial situation, including review of Law, behaviour of the audience and analysis of the transition to digital broadcasting that for Montenegrin television last year had great significance.
