Draft Project of the YouTube Talk-show for Youth

The research is devoted to the features of the development of a youth talk show on YouTube. First of all, the author examines the stages of development of a talk show as a genre, as well as the history of its development on television. The author describes the main approaches to the typology of this genre, and also identifies the main functions of the show hosts and participants on the example of number of Russian TV channels. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of YouTube as a phenomenon in the social media sphere. The author not only analyses the history of development of modern online platforms, but also presents the typology of social media. In addition, the work raises the question of the main ways to promote and monetize channels on videohosting, as well as the role of show hosts and participants of various shows on YouTube. As a result of research, the author presents a draft of a new talk show for young audience with its detailed description, including the features of promotion and monetization of this channel, and also gives an example of script with project costs.
