According to many annual reports, the number of successful attacks on companies is increasing every year, including ones with the use of malware. However, the number of various software and hardware security solutions has been increased. This paper discusses the advantages and disadvantages of various classes of such solutions, provides a summary and generalized analysis of these solutions, which resulted in a set of recommendations to strengthen comprehensive measures to protect the infrastructure of companies against external attacks.
