For this project, we use such methods as comparative analyzing and survey methodology for actual data collecting. Firstly, we have defined the GR and lobbyism terms for study purposes. Positioning of GR in the market demonstrate the actual trends. Further, applying the comparative method to GR regulation in different jurisdictions. We concluded that conclusion arose from the revealed differences in clarity of law-making process and detalization of legal regulations. Part of the study is based on the survey of GR managers of FMCG companies in Russia. The survey showed up the following findings: GR would not be in demand as a separate practice in law firms; FMSG require special GR decisions based on deep knowledge of business and implementation of law regulation of industry. Based on received results of the study We conclude that current Russian economic and legal environment require specific GR activities on legislative drafting and tracking of law making rather than GR management development as business services.
