The research "The Ideology of Beauty in the British Modernist Linguistic Culture" investigates the ideology of beauty in the British modernist linguistic culture and the way of perception of the concept of beauty formulated by British authors of the modern age such as James Joyce, Virginia Woolf, D.H. Lawrence, etc. The main purpose of this project is to define the ways of conveying the idea of beauty, specifically focusing on Virginia Woolf’s works such as “Mrs. Dalloway”, “To the lighthouse” and “Orlando”, "The waves", "The waves", etc. The object of this paper work is the concept of beauty in the British linguistic culture. The relevance of the study lies in the conceptual components of the phenomenon of “beauty” in works of Virginia Woolf as an aesthetic category in the context of English literature of the modernist era. This research consists of three chapters, the conclusion and references.
