Developing First Year Students' Crosscultural Communicative Competence by Means of the Elective Course

The topic of this paper is "Developing first year student's crosscultural communicative competence by means of elective course". The work includes introduction, two parts, conclusion and list of references. In the introduction the relevance, aim and methods of the research are described. The first part is devoted to disscussing the pecularities of the intercultural approach and its application in the first year of studies in language universities. The second part includes the analysis of a podcast as a method of developing first year student's intercultural communicative competence and elective videocourse design. In the conclusion the results of the research are presented. The paper includes 68 pages.
