The theme of rethinking the problem of the profession of divers in danger of extinction is of some importance. HeNe - one of the most difficult professions in the world: divers go down into the water only in a diving suit and mask, without any equipment. They mostly work at a depth of 5-6 meters, but some of them go down to a depth of 30 meters and hold their breath for 2-3 minutes. And now this profession is dying out. The aim of the project is to create a collection with a thoughtful design based on the inspiration of the history of the community to which hen belongs, and their way of life based on the matriarchy and the idea of a strong, hardworking woman. All items of clothing will be made by hand using a variety of decorative elements, such as beading, embroidery clothes sequins and others. The inspiration for the collection is also the cut of the wetsuit, the bioform of marine life.In the course of research, the following questions were considered: What is the harmony of man and nature? How to draw attention to endangered professions through fashion design? How to combine two contrasting themes: Demicouture with their embroideries and the problem of the Korean divers? The professional significance is that the project draws attention to the important problem of disappearing professions. In my project I would like to show that Korean mermaids can be interesting not only in terms of tourism, but also as a source of inspiration for creating a collection of women's clothing. The project offers a unique collection of re-interpreted clothes with elements of the bio-forms of marine life, which at the same time comfortable, which is a reference to the profession of nirali Jane. The proposed collection of clothes is a modern interpretation of this dangerous profession and draws attention to such an important issue that is in demand in world history.
