The Investment Appeal Evaluation of the Region

Currently, the main investment processes affect the economic growth of the country, and consequently the economic activity of its subjects. The prevailing foreign economic circumstances, namely tense relations between the countries, imposing sanctions against Russia form the necessity of the regional economy in investment stimulating their development. In order to decide whether to invest in an object, a potential investor needs an objective assessment of the possible benefits that he expects to receive in the future. Since Russia has a very large territory and is variegated in its economic development, investors consider the peculiarities of doing business in the region of interest when choosing an object for investment. Often investors do not use objective methods of estimating investment attractiveness and when making a decision, rely on their subjective assumptions and perceptions of the region. The above-mentioned reasons create the necessity of objective estimation of investment attractiveness of region, development of ways of its increase, and for this purpose it is important to define, positively and negatively influencing this indicator factors and possibility of state influence on them.
