Situations of Misunderstandings in Parent-Child Relations

The work is aimed at identifying opportunities, as well as analyzing the situation of mutual misunderstanding in parent-child relationships. Positive parent-child relationships provide the basis for the development and training of children. Thanks to the sensitive, responsive and predictable care of parents, small children develop the skills they need to succeed in life. Early parent-child relationships have a strong influence on children's emotional well-being, their basic ability to cope with difficulties and solve problems, as well as their ability for future relationships. The paper describes in detail and analyzed possible situations of mutual misunderstanding in the child-parent relationship. The impact of positive relationships in the family on the development of the child is considered in detail, and parental relationships are considered as a factor in the development of the child's personality. Selected, analyzed and described the main causes of situations of mutual misunderstanding between children and parents. The features of client-centered therapy use in child-parent relationships are described. The psychotherapeutic practice of the influence of family education styles on mutual understanding between children and parents is described. This work is addressed to the modern socio-psychological situation that has developed in Russian society, characterized by a certain family crisis, and this is manifested in an increase in the number of dysfunctional and incomplete families, on the one hand, together with the structural instability of the family, the value-normative divorce, and on the other - the loss of trusting warm relations between parents and children.
