Sociocultural adaptation of Russian students abroad: specifics of Chinese and Western educational spaces

The process of integration of the Russian educational system into the international educational space is becoming more intensive, and therefore the processes of academic mobility are being activated, the intensification of which increases the importance of studying the processes of adaptation of Russian students in a new socio-cultural environment. The purpose of this work is a comparative analysis of the peculiarities of the sociocultural adaptation of Russian students to a foreign educational space. The work is divided into two chapters, each of which, by solving the set tasks, fully discloses the goal set by the author. In the first chapter, the essence and problems of the analysis of the sociocultural adaptation of young students are examined in detail, the specificity of the western and eastern educational spaces is analyzed. In the second chapter, the features of sociocultural adaptation of Russian students abroad are identified, the results of the survey conducted as part of this work are presented, and conclusions are drawn about the difficulties of adaptation of Russian students in the West and in the East.
