International Trade between Russia and China: Comparative Legal Analysis

The following thesis is devoted to the analysis of international trade between Russia and China. The paper examines the experience of conducting international trade from the perspective of the national legislations of China and Russia as well as the legal practice in resolving trade disputes within the framework of the mechanism provided by the World Trade Organization (WTO). The general characteristic of prospects development of foreign trade activity between Russia and China is provided. The paper analyzes and reveals the common and specific features available in the national legislations of the two countries. The author demonstrates the significance of trade cooperation between Russia and China, analyzes the statistics of export-import operations. The study aims to explain the reasons for the need for Russia to pay attention to China's experience in the settlement of international trade disputes. The problems of correlation of the WTO law in modern conditions of Western sanctions are presented. The assessment of the mechanism of the WTO trade dispute resolution in the framework of modern realities is provided.
