Models of Matrimonial Behavior Changes During Demographic Transition in West, East Germany and Russia

The goal of this paper was to identify specific models for changing matrimonial behavior in Western, Eastern Germany and Russia: to find out exactly how a partnership is included in the 'standard' way of life, does it immediately become a 'trial marriage' or does the partnership first come after marriage as a secondary, auxiliary union, and only then is legitimized, moves to the very beginning of the matrimonial biography.
