Negative Constructions in Written Production by French Students of Russian as a Foreign Language

This graduate qualifying thesis is concerned with the issue of acquisition of negation in Russian language by francophone students. Along with the description of the theoretical basis for understanding the concept of negation in Russian and French linguistics, the authors analyzed the data of the RLC corpus and conducted two experiments in order to identify the features of generation of negative constructions in Russian by French-speaking students.
