Educational Programme: Business Informatics (Bachelor)

Year of Graduation: 2019

In recent years, it is increasingly possible to observe the emergence of a large number of IT projects on the market. These include various websites, iOS apps, Android apps, and other software. The implementation of any IT project is divided into two parts: the creation of a program interface (frontend) and the implementation of a tool (API) that provides data to the client (backend). The speed and accuracy of the data is directly dependent on the backend. For quick transfer and reliable data storage, you should study existing technologies and introduce them into the application ecosystem by creating a backend. This work will be devoted to the implementation of the backend for the social network WentOut. We consider the choice of a database, an example of working with it, an assessment of its performance under various loads, the speed of query execution when working with large amounts of data. The structure of creating an API is analyzed and suitable technologies for its creation are identified. The project file system and the structure of its hierarchy are organized. In the practical part of the work, methods for providing data will be described, as well as the direct implementation of the entire backend.
