In modern world the resolution of legal disputes is possible in two forms: judicial and non-judicial. The non-judicial forms include alternative ways of dispute settlement. In the Russian Federation parties to a dispute apply mainly to the court, but recently there has been a tendency to consider disputes in the arbitration court or through mediation and negotiations. In the course of foreign economic activity economic disputes appear really often. The World Trade Organization Dispute Settlement Body is the most effective mechanism for resolving disputes in the international stage.
