Abstract to the paper "Statistical Analysis of Labour Icome Differences of According to the Gender". Prepared by Tokareva Anna Anatolievna, the student of group BST 152 Faculty of Economics, HSE. The work is devoted to the research of inequality of labor income in the modern world depending on the gender, his or her position in the labor market and real wages, as well as the analysis of the relevant indicators in statics and dynamics. The aim of the thesis is a detailed study of the main indicators of differentiation of labor income among men and women in Russia and at the world level. In accordance with the purpose of the work it is necessary to solve the following tasks: identification of the basic concepts relating to the differentiation of income; study of the development of this problem and attempts to solve it; analysis of the dynamics of indicators according to data from around the world; study of gender inequality in Russia as a whole, by subjects, as well as at the micro level on household data; statistical analysis of gender inequality in the labour market. The work contains an introduction, three chapters, conclusion, list of used sources and applications. The first Chapter describes in detail the basic definitions and concepts of the labor market and labor income of the population, the main approaches to income differentiation. It also presents the data sources used in the study, a review of scientific papers on the impact of various factors on the level of income inequality. The second Chapter describes the history of the problem on a global scale and current trends, in particular, describes the features of the problem in Russia. The third Chapter presents a statistical analysis of the impact of various social and economic factors on the gender differentiation of individual labor incomes.
