Animacy and Novelty Factors in Visual Search Asymmetry

Анализ фактора новизны в асимметрии зрительного поиска как нового базового признака начался с исследования Вольфа (Wolfe, 2001). Данное исследование нацелено на эмпирическую проверку предположения о влиянии факторов одушевленности и новизны на асимметрию в зрительном поиске. В исследовании используется характерная для асимметрии поиска задача, в которой испытуемые осуществляют поиск целевого стимула с отличительным признаком среди дистракторов без него. 48 студентов приняли участие в исследовании. Результаты этого исследования позволят выявить влияние двух факторов на эффективность поиска в задаче характерной для асимметрии зрительного поиска. Данное исследование нацелено на разрешение открытого вопроса о том, является ли новизна базовым признаком в асимметрии зрительного поиска.
