Effective Application of Agile Software Development in a Corporate Environment

The last decades of rapid growth of the software development sphere have demonstrated the need of IT specialists for new tools to effectively respond to emerging problems and challenges in the business processes of IT industry. The development of Agile methodologies is response of the professional IT community to the increasing complexity and scale of IT projects, as well as increasing demands on the necessary human resources in the context of corporate product development. The object of research is the process of implementing Agile methodologies in the process of developing IT products in a corporate environment. The subject of the research is the process of implementation and evaluating the effectiveness of using Agile methodologies among the largest companies. Using the examples of popular methodologies Kanban, SCRUM and LeSS that were analyzed in the theoretical part, the main causes and effects of Agile methodologies adapted to the corporate environment were explained. These methodologies were analyzed, their benefits were assessed in terms of the scaling of processes, the interaction of the largest development teams and specialists in non-IT areas.
