Modern Methods of Assessing Creditworthness of a Corporate Borrower's in the Commercial Bank

The purpose of this final qualifying work is to assess the creditworthiness of corporate borrowers, grouped according to similar attributes. In the final qualifying work author put forward a suppose about the dependence of the results of assesing borrower's creditworthiness on the inclusion the company in various groups of analysis. At the theoretical part of this work author described the theoretical base and the methodological description of assessing creditworthness of a corporate borrower. At the empirical part the described assessment methods were practically applied. Merosa Trading LLC was the potential corporate borrower, in this company the author had practice before writing the diploma. To verify the veracity of the suppose were selected 2 groups of companies. One of them included companies which are similar in their field of activity and the other group included companies which have the same volume of business with Merosa Trading LLC. The creditworthiness of the potential corporate borrower was assessed within each group, then the results were compared. As a result of the study the author concluded that the suppose is valid, the author noticed that the most reliable results were received during the assessing the creditworthiness of corporate borrower in a group of companies, which are operating at the similar field of activity.
