Logic, Truth and Probability in F.Ramsey's Philosophy

The work will focus on the activities of the outstanding English philosopher, mathematician and economist, representative of the analytical school of philosophy Frank Ramsey. During his short life – Ramsay died in 1930 at the age of 26-he managed to do incredibly much. Proved a theorem in mathematics. Invented several of the laws of logic. Influenced the development of probability theory. At the age of 19, he translated Ludwig Wittgenstein's treatise on Logic and philosophy into English. The influence of Ramsay on the change of his philosophical ideas and the famous turn to the real language is written by Wittgenstein himself in the Preface to"Philosophical studies". Ramsay belonged to the direction of logic in analytical philosophy, attended lectures by Wittgenstein and Russell at Cambridge, studied mathematics, logic, philosophy, Economics, probability theory. He left a mark in every discipline. However, we will be interested in his philosophical works. The philosophical outline of the work will be held on the actual for the beginning of XX points in European analytical philosophy: logical atomism, theory of descriptions, justification of mathematics, logicism, opposition of island and continental schools.
