Rating is a convenient tool for determining leaders and outsiders. It is likely that is why ratings are so tightly embedded in our daily lives. Country ratings, popularity of passports, films, educational systems and educational institutions are compiled. But at the same time, the rating of educational organizations “stumbles” on a large number of different nuances: from the lack of reliable information in open sources, to the features of the activities of educational institutions and the goals that they set for themselves. Attempts to build a rating with objective indicators common to all lead to a lack of consideration for the characteristics of educational institutions and the student body. Ratings based on objective indicators do not show the path that educational institutions have gone with their students. What were the starting indicators and what was achieved. A peculiar solution to the problem should be the consideration of quality indicators when rating educational institutions. Very important is the emphasis on how students are selected for the institution. The school works with everyone with the right to education or makes an individual selection. Taking these features into account will make the overall picture formed by ratings more objective. The volume of the master's thesis - 62 pages, the number of illustrations - 9, tables - 5, applications - 2. 51 sources were used in the work.
