Security Research of FC-SAN Network for the "Mobile Bank" Project

This final qualification work is devoted to the study of FC-SAN network security, depending on the basic settings of network equipment and the proposed measures to improve security. The relevance of the study is due to the widespread use of FC networks and the task set by UniCredit Bank to the author in connection with the introduction of networks of this type in production within the framework of the Mobile Bank project. The paper assessed the initial security of the IP, compiled a model of the intruder according to the ФСТЭК methodology, compiled a list of possible vulnerabilities, and identified current security threats. It also proposed measures to increase the level of information system security in the framework of network interaction, and developed a mathematical model based on discrete random homogeneous Markov processes that quantifies the proposed security measures.
