The Economics of Online Education for School Students: Cost Structure and Productivity.

Economist W. Baumol noted that in a number of sectors of the economy, cost increases exceed productivity growth. This phenomenon is called cost disease. Some experts consider the development of online education as one of the ways to overcome the crisis. The Moscow Electronic School project is a platform for the development of online education models. The study shows that, the project does not yet contribute to overcoming the disease.
